Ear Buddies™ splints are designed and made specifically to correct the problem. The splint works for the very reason that surgery in infancy does not: the cartilage in a baby's ear is extremely soft and easy to mould.

The splints are fitted into the gully of the ear and fixed by narrow strips of tape, and then the whole ear is taped to the side of the head using a broad tape strip. The pressure of the splint on the ear cartilage resets its tendency to make the ears stick out whilst maintaining the proper contours of the rest of the ear.

Ear Buddies™ splints are made to be comfortable, and your baby should be able to sleep on a splinted ear untroubled.

The younger the baby, the shorter the amount of time needed to correct the problem.
